Welcome to Manton Parks

Manton Parks is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization committed to managing our rural “for the community, by the community” campus and recreation center, providing free and low-cost resources for education, activities, and events of all sizes. We welcome locals and visitors alike to join us!

Manton Parks is committed to four pillars of work, all in service to the people who live and work in the Manton Valley.

  • Community Activities and Events

Manton Parks hosts a variety of events and activities throughout the year, including festivals, weekly gatherings, educational opportunities and workshops.

  • Historical Museum

Our campus is the home to the historic Manton Museum - an old schoolhouse repurposed into a treasure trove of local stories and artifacts.

  • Fundraising

Our community center is funded with local dollars and generous grants. We rely 100% on donations to keep our facilities open and programs running.

  • Maintenance and Expansion

We’re privileged to have buildings and grounds available to our community. Adding new facilities and upgrading our center is a key area of focus.

Quick Resource Guide

Manton Parks Community Center - Animal Policy

All animals on Manton Parks property must be kept under direct physical control on a leash no longer than 6 feet in length at all times. Tie-outs, retractable leashes beyond 6 feet, and unrestrained animals are not permitted. Animal owners and handlers are responsible for maintaining control of their animal throughout their visit.

Any animal displaying aggressive behavior - regardless of leash status - will be asked to leave the premises immediately. Visitors may report concerns about particular animals to Manton Parks by emailing mantonparks@gmail.com.

Service animals, as defined under applicable law, are welcome at all Manton Parks facilities and outdoor areas.

Violations of this policy will be addressed by Manton Parks representatives, who will direct individuals to the posted and published policy. Owners in violation will be asked to remove the animal from the premises.
